Let me know if you want a cutie patooty brother-or-sister of my boy, Chicken. I'll put you in touch with his breeder.

Dog Day at the Park
This past Friday, Brian and I loaded up Riley into the car and drove to the Oakland Coliseum for Dog Day at the Park - a take your dog to the game event! We got to watch the A's game (bummer of a loss), enjoy a beer and some nachos and have Riley right by our side, the whole time. Amy also joined us, which Riley was excited about, too.
Happy Birthday, Old Man!
Happy Birthday, Tim!
Last weekend, in addition to grilling with friends, we got to treat Brian's dad to a birthday dinner out. One of the nicest things about being back in California is getting to celebrate our parents' birthdays with more than just a phone call or a mailed card. We found a new camera battery, a gorillapod and a Giants t-shirt that were all perfect birthday gifts for Tim, more affectionately referred to by his sons, etc. as The Old Man.
Summer BBQin'
One of my favorite things about summer are BBQs!
Last weekend, my parents were kind enough to open up their home to me and a few friends (well, they were out of town, but I got the thumbs up beforehand). We bbq'd burgers and corn and had yummy, fresh fruit salad and green salad. On top of that, the dogs had a blast and we got some hut tubbin' in.

Summer Catch Up
Wow, I've been a BAD BLOGGER! I can't believe it's been over two weeks since my last post. Let's catch you up on the happenings of our life....
Fourth of July weekend was pretty mellow, but fun. We threw a small, casual party for our friends, Jess and Dan, to celebrate their recent engagement. Had a ton of fun and got to visit with a handful of great friends!
The happy couple, smooching, after the toast.
The three day weekend was followed by a very busy work week, me in Denver, Brian in his first week at the new job....but we packed up and headed to Orange County for Megan & Michael's wedding!
Megan was a STUNNING bride. So gorgeous and calm.
Brian and I are looking forward to a mellow, low-key weekend.....maybe some sunshine, swimming, grilling, reading, hiking...who knows?
