For those of you who don't know, I LOVE the movie "Twister". Today, we kinda got to experience our own real life "Twister" - minus Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. A funnel cloud was spotted a few miles north of our house - Brian happened to bust out the ol' Nikon D80 to capture the moment (above). I was debating the crawl space vs. the downstairs bathroom for shelter...luckily we don't even know if it touched ground, let alone hit our house. We also got some crazy thunder and lightning AND hail (about half inch in diameter).Sunday, June 7, 2009
